CONSTRAINTS & NEEDENCOUNTERED

  • Lack of proper income to facilitate the pupils’ education (inadequate space and classroom.
  • The increasing number of children (from street) is coming to school and this has led to high increase of number. Currently we operate from the church  building which has small compound to accommodate the number of children we have.
  • The increase of this number has led to a strain on the latrine. The school currently has two door latrines which are shared among children and teacher.
  • Lack of affordable and accessing financial facilities to general income.
  • The high level of poverty in the great hitch
  • The children we release from class 8 to join secondary still come back asking for assistance in terms of uniform, stationary, school fee from meager resources, thus straining us further
  • Lack of feeding program since the institution has not been able to get a permanent/stable feeding programme.
  • Lack of enough water for our children to use. This has led to poor hygiene condition since the children hardly wash their hands after using the pit latrines.
  • Lack of enough desks and learning materials thus textbooks and exercise book are shared
  • Lack of a proper building
